The Stillbirth Foundation's second Little Feet Taking Big Steps Ball was a fabulous success raising over $100,000 for stillbirth research. Held on Saturday, 5th May 2007 at the Hilton Sydney with 367 guests in attendance who enjoyed sensational wines, a great new beer and fine food in celebration of the stillbirth cause.
Deborah Thomas, Editorial Director of the Australian Women’s Weekly and Patron of the Stillbirth Foundation, lead us through a fun evening’s entertainment as our MC, and actor Jay Laga'aia entertained our guests with songs and great stories! The night began with a generous donation by Johnson and Johnson Pacific of $15,000 and our guests continued to spend to over-exceed our target of $100,000.

A/Prof. Frederik Froen, pictured below, a world-recognised stillbirth research and perinatal expert, from Norway introduced stillbirth & the importance of raising funds. We were honoured to have him as a guest at the Ball.

The fabulous band, Swerve, kept our guests dancing throughout this year’s Ball as they did last year. Sally Burleigh Public Relations undertook PR for the Event. All wines were kindly donated once again by McGuigan Wines, all beer by Byron Bay Brewery and still and sparkling water supplied by Mount Franklin.

All our prizes were raffled and auctioned (as silent and live lots) and we are most thankful for the donor’s invaluable support. A few games were held to keep our guests entertained, and the live auctions were brilliantly sold by renowned celebrity auctioneer, Ian Gollan.

The Stillbirth Foundation Committee is truly thankful to those many and admirable companies and individuals, listed below, who came together to produce this fabulous night to highlight the importance of the stillbirth cause. If the opportunity arises for you to patronise one of these businesses or meet that person, please thank them for their support of the Stillbirth Foundation:
Thank you sincerely... without your support none of this would be possible!
Together, little feet are taking big steps... to reduce stillbirth!
