Men and Grief
A free, informal evening meeting, especially for fathers who have experienced the death of their baby, will be held on Friday July 14.
Dr. Peter Barr will be host the evening. Peter is a father as well as a Senior Staff Physician in Neonatology at The Children’s Hospital Westmead. He has a long clinical and research interest in grief and recently completed a doctoral thesis which explored the similarities and differences in men and women’s grief following a stillbirth or the death of a baby in the newborn period.
This meeting for men will be held at Stormanston House, 27 McLaren Street, North Sydney on Friday 14th July, 2006 from 7.30 pm to 9.30 pm. There is no cost to participate, and limited parking is available at the rear of the venue.
