Another fabulous, fun-filled Stillbirth Foundation Australia event was held on the 17th September at the Hilton Sydney raising almost $50,000.
Our exuberant hosts, Rachel Friend and Stuart MacGill (pictured left with Kristina and Ben Keneally) headed the Alice in Wonderland themed event which was full of games, like croquet, and characterised by appearances from the Red Queen, the Mad Hatter, the White Rabbit and, of course, Alice herself.
The event also marked the launch of the much anticipated 'Stillbirth in Australia' brochure by our enthusiastic supporter and patron, the Hon. Kristina Keneally MP.
Supporters of the Stillbirth Foundation Australia did their utmost to raise funds for our cause by purchasing balloons, teacups and partaking in the silent auction. One of the most notable prizes awarded on the night was a gorgeous 1.2m long pearl necklace designed exclusively for our event by Stewart Alexander. Our guests then danced the night away on the chequerboard dance floor to songs played by the fantastic live band, Swerve.
Overall, the night was a great success and we owe it all to the ongoing support of our wonderful guests and generous sponsors. Thank you!
